Our message is clear: Volunteers of the Tanzania Red Cross are trained in community-based elderly care and provide daily support to selected older women who are in urgent need of assistance. With your support, we help these women age with dignity and receive the care they deserve.
Why this Project?
During her visits on site, Edith recognized the urgent need for elderly care and actively sought partners who could help implement this important project in Tanzania. Her observations and dedication laid the foundation for Elderly Care Tanzania.
Our Success: Positive Results after the First Steps
We are proud to have successfully conducted the first elderly care training seminar for 20 volunteers. The implementation of the mobile elderly care program began in May 2026, and we are already seeing positive changes in the lives of the women receiving care.
